Is there any stable apps for SMS now?
I have been using handcent for the past six months but I'm noticing a lot of missed messages not being retrieved until hours after the person sent them to you.

I hear the paid chomp SMS is having problems and I don't want ads.
I uninstalled handcent and I am using the stock messenger for now.
Any suggestions?
 
I use GO SMS and haven't had problems. That is what I have used on all my phones for over a year now. I used Handcent prior to that, but GO has more options and I haven't ever had any problems with it.
 
Does go SMS require go launcher? I like the touch wiss interface. Tried go launcher and launcher pro in the past on other phones, but I like tw better now.

No, Go SMS and Go Launcher are completely independent apps. You can use either one without the other.

I have been using Launcher Pro, and I'm giving ADW a shot right now, but I always use GO SMS
 
When I use gosms it sends me a text saying I have a voicemail but it wont let me access my voicemail when I have one. How do I change this.
 
I'm using GO SMS too and getting the same voicemail texts from 9012.. its SO annoying. I work at sprint and I had a customer come in with an evo yesterday with this problem, and none of the techs knew what it was either.. I know there was a new update yesterday.. and once he did it he started getting them, then what do you know.. I upaded GO SMS today and now I'm getting them.

PLEASE HELP! lol
 
I haven't got any of those on my Epic Touch 4G, I use Google Voice though not Sprint voicemail. Maybe that is why I'm not having a problem if there is an issue with Go and Sprint voicemail.
 
I tried Go SMS... so far I like it.
I use google voice also, never set up my sprint voicemail. I haven't gotten any voicemail texts through GO SMS.
