Help Sms not sent error message

Hey peeps. My pal tried to text a friend from my phone and the message failed with this error message

Anyone ever seen anything like this.
The number is valid as he rang it earlier and my phone will text other numbers.
Any thoughts welcome

I sometimes get an error sending sms when I'm in bad coverage areas. Did you touch to try again.
