Help Sms personilzation

[Cypras]

Is there a way to set custom notification sounds for contacts? For texts?

If you use Go SMS and Go Contacts you can set individual notification ringtones for calls and texts.

Does that require Go Launcher?

Yes. Which I think you would really like.

I know you can change ring tones for separate people with the stock contacts app, as far as texts I do not know

I had this problem. You can't have individual ringtones if contact saved to sim.

I use the Handcent app. GoSMS never worked right for me...
