Sms problems

Hey everyone so i just got a rogers acer liquid e and its running the 2.1 update1 firmware, im new to this type of phone but everytime i text someone the thread has sorted all my texts in a row and the other senders in a row ontop so i have to scroll up to see what they said. Is this normal or anyway to fix it......

Hello and welcome to the AndroidForums!

I'm not familiar with this type of phone but usually, the Menu button, if you have one on the phone, can bring up options you didn't know before.
