SMS Problems

Hi,

I just got a HTC Desire, got rid of my iPhone 3g, pretty happy with it.

I am based in the UK, and it's on an Orange contract.

I have one problem, maybe someone else is having the same.

I use "Messages" for all of my sms'. I send alot of SMS'. My Desire randomly deletes all of my messages.

Also I sometimes get the Desire saying it has to force quit messages.

This is really annoying, as everything else works great.

Would be brilliant if someone had some information on this.

Oh HTC you also suck for not making it Mac compatible. Macs are awesome.

Go into your messages, then go to settings and make sure Delete old messages is unticked. that might help

I have "Delete old messages" unticked.

Text message limit - 200
Maximum Message size - 300k.

Also I swapped the 4gig card for a 16gig one, so there is more than enough room... I think (don't know if the SMS' are stored on the phone or the memory card)
