SMS syncing in with e-mail

So, convert from iPhone to Android, picked up a galaxy S2. I have just about everything worked out but this last one is driving me crazy.

I sync with Exchange, and use the built in mail client. All of my text messages keep getting sync'ed in with my e-mail so they show up on the phone, and in my outlook, google hasn't been very helpful.

Anyone know how to turn that off, its driving me insane.

Nevermind, think I found it, option for sync sms was checked under my account settings, could have sworn I've looked there before but somehow must have overlooked it.

I tried to deselect to option to backup SMS messages into email and it said it was "Unable to change SMS settings at this time". Nothing is running.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem when I was on the same wifi as the email server. Disconnected and used 3g and then I could deselect the Sync SMS setting.

Hth,

Dave
