I use the One V along with a third party SMS widget, but the basic SMS service on the stock Rom. It's running ICS with all the updates from HTC. But when I delete SMS messages, they still show on the widget until it is rebooted or the widget removed and readded to the home screen. I assumed it was a problem with the third party app, but I today installed a second third party widget, and it is showing deleted messages from before it was installed. When I deleted a new SMS from this second app, it did go, but again was still visible on the first widget. The first widget doesn't have a delete button so I have to delete them within the stock message app.
My question is, does Sense or something cache sms messages because while i can understand the widget caching messages that arrive after it it installed, I have no idea why it would show messages deleted before it was installed.
Any help appreciated.
