Root Snatched 140 Update!!

Okay guys, I've tracked the url for the 140 update and successfully downloaded it. I'm uploading it to Dropbox to share now and will post immediately. I'm going to attempt to patch the boot.img so it'll be updated and make it insecure. I'm still learning how to compile kernels, so I will need help, that's why this needs to be shared. Then we can update and keep root.

https://db.tt/WFIaBGKN here's the update so anyone with some skill jump on this with me. I'm hoping to just apply their patch to the boot.img then make it insecure which should allow Supersu to keep root. If Dropbox won't let you download let me know I'll re-upload somewhere else.

It appears the root exploit of /system/etc/init.qcom.sdio.sh should still work? updater-script has a line near the end set_perm(1000, 1000, 0777, "/system/etc/init.qcom.sdio.sh"); Am I correct in assuming this file can still be modified in M140 to chmod /system/bin and allow me to install su?

It appears that after an update, init.qcom.sdio.sh is still 0777. I updated a pretty much stock install of m130.

To be on the safe side, I'd still recommend adding the line

chmod 0777 /system/etc/init.qcom.sdio.sh

to init.qcom.sdio.sh before updating to m140

The boot.img is patched though so I'm wondering how we could have adb access and all the other failsafe stuff needed if rooted on this phone. There's no way home with this thing like a nexus device.
