So are you keeping your N7?

Yes!!! I have No issues! But just in case!

I'm keeping hold of mine. If they send a courier to a door exchange that's fine I'll swap. But I like many refuse to send it back and wait god knows how long and my nearest Samsung store is a hell of a train journey away.

Preach, that photo is pure gold! :D :D :D

I want the Note 7, but I want a straight swap for it. And I want to know that the NEW one is less subject to recall than the old one. I haven't read what the fix is for this... so how will we know that our new Note 7s are indeed fixed?

Thinking about keeping mine. Zero heating [emoji621] problems after charging, and I get good battery life. By definition, they will be giving me a different battery.

Spoke to a rep from Samsung on an unrelated matter but the N7 came up he's put me down for a call back regarding it as he believes they will be sending replacements out then getting old ones back in the exchange so we don't go without a phone. He also indicated an as yet unknown goodwill gesture.. This is direct form Samsung UK mind.

I'm keeping mine until Carphone Warehouse here in the UK tells me otherwise.

Unlike the US; I haven't heard a peep from carriers in the UK.

It is definitely less of an issue in the UK. Samsung UK rep advised not a single reported issue in the UK market. Very played down here.

Carphone warehouse sent me a text with a number for Samsung. Samsung said they want to replace all their Note7's but they did not advise me not to use or charge my phone while a replacement arrives.

I'll be keeping mine until my local sprint store gets the new ones in stock then I'll go swap it. Until then I'll enjoy rocking it without a screen cover. It's amazing how beautiful this screen is without a crappy piece of plastic on it.

Yes this is my first smartphone I'm gonna use naked. It's just beautiful.

Note: I mean the phone naked, not me.

Why the time limit?? It should already have 1-2 years warranty from Samsung. Samsung is the one replacing the Note7 not Verizon so why put a deadline on it? Crazy. What if you just got your Note7 and then went on vacation for a month? You're screwed. This is stupid Verizon.

Today I received an email from T-Mobile with three choices:

1. Sign up and we’ll let you know when the new Samsung Galaxy Note7 is available
2. Switch to a new device
3. Return phone for a full refund

I signed up to have them notify me when the new Note 7 is available. T-Mobile says it will be 2 - 4 weeks. Then I should be able to exchange my phone at the local T-Mobile store. There was no mention of a $25 account credit or gift card.
