So excited to get an ANDROID PHONE!!! Where do I start?

Wow, the Samsung Galaxy S looks like the phone for me (as long as I can get one that will work on Rogers Wireless Canada =P) Now all I need is patience for the phone to actually be released and unlocked...But I don't have any patience!!
So I've been wondering, what should I do when I get it? What are the first things you download and change when you get your phone? Absolutely necessary Android programs, good wallpapers....let's hear about it!!

When I first got my htc Legend- I got all my contacts down and started trying out the onscreen keyboard xD *taptaptap*

I tried the onscreen keyboard > went to the market place and downloaded abduction world attack, robodefence free > made a short HD video of my cat > went out in the garden and played with the GPS > waited a few hours, downloaded google sky maps and went to see what stars i could spot!!
