Help So, how do we fix the constant freezing?

You know, I've seen many people complain about this, but not a definitive fix to it.

I can't do a damn thing without it freezing. Just about literally everything on this phone will result in it freezing if I try to activate them.

What do?

when a major problem like this exist the best to do is back up your phone and do a factory reset. If the problem continues and your still under warrenty go ahead and trade it in.

I got my Bionic minutes after it went on sale on day one. Mine has never frozen.

I think the recommendation of a factory reset makes sense and if it still happens take it back ... if you don't like the Bionic get your money back ... if you do like the bionic get a replacement.

Do you have a case on your Bionic or a screen protector? Does the case or screen protector EVEN A CLEAR ONE cover the proximity sensor (see page 4 of your users guide).

When it freezes you might try ...

Turn the display off then on
If still frozen
Power the Bionic Off then On
If still frozen
Power the Bionic off, pull the battery, reinsert the battery, power on
If still frozen
Do a factory reset
If still frozen
Retrurn it for refund or replacement

There are a number of problems here reported by relativly few people that are all getting glumpted together under the same category.

Mine has only locked up once(the fault of an app) and I have had it since day one.

I can honestly say that my Bionic has has never frozen up once since release day, but I remember how frustrating that can be from my pos Samsung Vibrant.
I think you may have gotten a faulty Bionic.

Mine has been freezing alot the past couple of days..as well as the Black screen of death happening twice today! Grrrrrrr

I'll deal for now...Gettin sold in a week or so anyway : )

Yeah that's not normal. Ive had one freeze and it was the dialer app but my phone has been good every since. I would definitely send that phone back.
