Help so i cant read the spc of my phone

i am trying to install a new prl but it asks for my spc so i opened cdma workshop and tried to read the spc but it just wouldent work at all so i dont know what to do right now do i haved to be rooted to do this?
 
Nope i wasnt when i did mine. There r two ways u can get it. Either get the MEID DEC off ur box or behind ur battery on ur phone then download a MEID to SPC converter app or find a site that does it. Its really easy to get.
 
Search Google for "MEID Converter"

you can find your MEID in

Settings-->About Phone--->Status

this will generate 6 digit spc for you
