Because the two phones with similar upload speeds have the same radio.

My mistake. In that case, the MyTouch4G has a B/G/N wifi radio, whereas the other two are B/G only. Do you have an N-router at home?

As for the Edge speeds, I failed to address that. The MyTouch 4G is a class 32, while the other two are a Class 10. This affects Edge connection speeds.

Yes that's an N-router. It transfers more data than b/g routers.
