It took me 3.5 years to upgrade from my Motorola SLVR. I really liked having the ability to install my own ringtones and use iTunes, though the 100 song limit was disappointing. AT&T was also nice enough to unlock my phone so I was able to use my SLVR while studying in Germany. I just popped in a prepaid SIM and I was good to go.

To this day this was my favorite phone!
Still have mine in mint condition with both the standard and slimline battery and it powers right up!

Count me as another who kept the star tac digital

Hell, I upgraded from the analog star tac a year after I got it, for $549! I think two months later would have saved me like $200.

Lol, while reorganizing some stuff in the basement, I came acrossed my hubby's old Omnipoint Seimens phone. It's a brick. I asked him why he still has it and he says he can't bear to part with it. Apparently it's his favorite.
