So i traded my Moment. and got this phone....

i LOVE this thing... what do you guys think of it? even on 3G tethering is wicked fast. 3 times faster then on the samsung moment. not to mention does not freez, crash or hangup at all.

Wow. Hats off to you for hanging on to your Moment for so long. Although I thought the Moment was great at for its time when it was released, as soon as the EVO was released I upgraded and didn't look back.

I'm still on the fence as whether or not to upgrade from my EVO to the Photon since I'm really pleased with my EVO thus far but the upgrade bug always starts infecting me when I start reading various reviews....

Just ordered mine to replace the moment too! The moment sucked...gps never worked. Screen was great for it's time though. Didn't give the galaxy a look because of samsungs sucky support...cant wait to get mine!

I used to have the Moment too...really sucked especially compared to the Photon! One thing that I'm a little confused about...I had some fonts on my SD card from the Moment which is now on my new phone, but they don't show when trying to change fonts for the minimilistic text widget. I noticed while using ES Explorer that 2 different cards were listed, so I moved them from the old SD card to the one on the phone. But they still don't show up. Why are some files from the old card showing up fine (pictures, icons, etc.) but not others (back-ups from apps, etc.)

yea i needed to upgrade for a long time.... only problem with the moment im having is wifi tether is not working and video streaming on 3g does not work. :-( i hope they fix this soon

I for the most part am a patient person and even at times it gets the best of me when things don't work out, but my sister in law, thats another story, she is highly upset about not getting calls in (the infamous call bug) and reboot at times issue. She is about to return the damn thing. But i did the MR3 update and that didn't help her so I keep telling her to wait it out till and hopefully Moto issues that official update.
