So I'm thinking of going to att

No, it just sounds shady as downloadimg a bootlegged copy of a paid app but getting away with not paying for it.

I appreciate your google class. Are you on xda by chance? Last I checked, we can ask any question we wish on AF?

don't take it so personal, ofcourse you can, but re-writing whats readily available everywhere with 5 minutes of someones time gets to be a pain :)

Not taking it personal. ...but you may, youve spent more than 5 min trying to convince me that what youve "repeated" that could be googled is an acceptible practice for AT&T...Cheating the unlimited plan... :D

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....(moving on)

Edit

Well now that the Att unlimited is achievable.

After trying Att and Verizon I've basically come to a stalemate and would like to ask u people (I don't know any other uninterested parties). This is my offerings

Verizon
900 minutes w/f&f(one # will be Google voice connection number for unlimited calling. Yes I have the older version apk)
Unlimited data
(All texting would have to go through Google voice which is the number everyone already has for me)

90 bucks plus blah blah fees.

Att
450 minutes with rollover and anymobile
4 gig tethering plan (I fully intend to do the iPhone trick for unlimited though)
Unlimited messaging
15% discount

92 dollahs plus fees. Which will come down to 75 after "repairing" the data plan.

I do not live in a metro area and wont see lte for a while but i have good 3g on either. What do u guys think?

Lets hope you dont get caught

there is nothing to be caught about...even att reps that are in the know suggest it(the one i bought my phone from did)

you are not doing anything illegal, infact your not even bypassing anything.....it's simply what ATT allows you to do

no point in trying to worry people about nothing

I'm going to call CSR today and see if its something they allow. Id certainly be worried if it would effect my account if caught cheating the system. thats what Plans and packages are set up for.

Thanks

CSR looked into this and said AT&T have been aware of this pratice and realizes it is not fair to customers in various ways. They are already looking into ways to address the practice.

Personally, i would not want to be one's account that may get flagged or locked if caught.

Re:"no ppoint trying to worry people about nothing"... you wont be worried if you're not doing something under the table in the first place.

This is the same that goes with those who tethers "illegally" and then rants when they get the AT&T warning or stripped of certain plans when "caught"

I am surprised AF is allowing this to stay on the forums discussion when they pulled conversations a few days ago that discussed where to get paid apps for free.

Ironically enough, it's physically impossible for members of staff to read EVERY post and EVERY thread and we heavily rely on our users to 1)follow the rules that we have in place and 2)report posts that break those rules.

In this situation, circumventing the policies and rules that a carrier has in place is not something that we allow to be discussed on this forum (feel free to discuss it on one of those other forums that allow it ;) ). Since we don't allow it, there is no need to keep the thread open.

Thanks for your understanding.
