So long Android, So long Nexus One

I got tired of all the quirks and issues with Android so I finally mustered up the gumption to ditch the entire works and move on. Sadly, it seems that Tmobile has gotten fully in bed with Google and the Android platform so I was forced to find another carrier with a more varied product offering.

That said....I wish all you guys(and gals) the best!

I care ...because?

As far as your reasons for ditching Android..seems like you don't understand how it works or a personal hate for Android, as you said T Mobile "has gotten fully in bed with Google"

Good luck to whatever you choose, hopefully its open source..but I doubt it.

O and don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

Why do people announce on an Android forum that they are leaving the platform, wish they had an iphone, blah, blah, blah....

That's fine that you're leaving Android, but your not going to get cheered on. Just stop posting here and go get a new phone. No big deal.

Not to lend any sort of actual conversation to this thread... but tmo "got in bed" with what was hot and attainable.... android. Not Google. If they could have, they would have snapped up the iPhone.
On that note, hope you enjoyed wasting almost 600 bux just to realize you hate the OS. You coulda gotten a g1 and realized that for 50. Idiot.

could you please elaborate about the 'all the quirks and issues with Android' please? And by the way, told us which non-Android phone are you buying?

no one cares about you or your statement

Wow, I think a Jew would be more popular walking through a Palestinian neighborhood! My Nexus has its quirks and TMO doesn't have the service like my old Verizon, but I'm happier than I would have been with an iPhone like my wife. To each their own.

And yes, that was a good movie!

You are silly to abandon the open source community. It will keep growing and growing. Partially because as long as the OS has Exchange and Office support, it will work. That is why open source is a better idea on phones vs computers.

Thank you, well now I just feel silly. That used to be one of my favorite movies as a kid, haven't seen it in YEARS, but thought it looked familiar.
