So yeah us G2 just got the wonderful app of netflix but now my question is...since our phone doesn't have an hdmi port..is there a way we can connect our g2 to our tv? (I don't have internet at home so this will come in handy if its possible)
The only way I could see a workaround on this is through the USB port on the G2, but I don't think the G2 can host a signal for Netflix and then route that signal to a USB-enabled HDTV or anything. I think the new app is useful mainly if you're bored somewhere and have an hour to kill outside of the home. Otherwise, I'd spring for internet to get the full Netflix experience.
Yeah I tried using my usb to the tv (tv has a usb port) didn't work out lol...
But yeah this was just gonna be temporary. Just moved to a new apt and don't have the money to afford internet at the moment since the damn deposit for the apt was $1,000
i really wish the app wouldnt stop or exit to the menu when sliding the phone closed... i like to search for titles using the keyboard then close it to watch em..
anybody know a fix or setting i can disable for this?
