as per here http://androidforums.com/android-lounge/863592-android-settings-language-input-spellchecke.html

there is a native android spellcheck feature in "Android settings→ language and input→ spellcheck"

but we do not have it on Note 3?

why? :/

maybe there is some reason?

or work around that can be used?

here is what feature looks like on their android:

Autocorrect is still there just called a different name (predictive text)

And, yes, it still ends up being worse than iOS autocorrect. It replaces properly spelled words with words that are irrelevant. Sometimes I have the word 'router' substituted for 'rebooted' go figure.

Here is the option in the Galaxy Note 10.1

Or just use SwiftKey free in the Google Play store. Any corrections that you need to make are available on the left side of the keyboard.

thanks mate

I see

good job by them - sweeping this feature under their keyboard

I want to use any other keyboard and still enjoy the use of spell check ..

:/

ohh wow mate - how did you make this video?

on what device/os?

and what software? did it also upload automatically (like some screenshot software will do)

cool

thanks!!

I used a program called "SCR Pro" to capture the screen to a video recording then uploaded it to YouTube.

I am using Jelly Bean 4.3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3. SCR Pro is available from the Google Play store.
