So the $100 question

Do you want a big phone running a crappy UI, or a smaller phone running a good UI?

haha.

well, i am coming from an eris, so i imagine either phone will be quite a step up regardless of sense or touchwiz.

at first glance, the SG3 doesn't seem to be that large. but who knows after some daily use with it?

i guess i should really go to the verizon store to compare the two in person.

just sucks cause i was really waiting for the dinc4g to use my last upgrade, but had to go with the SG3. so i that regard, it feels like i'm settling for the sg3. but who knows, maybe i'll like it just fine, and hook up with HTC on the next go round.

I am debating the same thing...as i am sure are tens of thousands of us. I looked at the inc4 on monday at the verizon store...and i will say that it was "nice enough"...bright screen ( on max bright ) and snappy enough...but a bit too polished and glossy for me. But overall it was a nice phone.

Then last night i snuck into an AT&T store and played with a S3 ( the purple one )..its not blue...its purple...or blueberry colored. Again screen was bright ( on max bright), but not as bright as i expected. The phone was snappy, and felt good in my hand...not too big. In fact it didn't feel as honking big as the nexus did the first time i held it.

Looked at a white one as well...and i will say that i think the white one looks much nicer than the purple ( blueberry ) one...but still it did not have that " i must have you now" feel or look to it.

One thing that is now infuencing my judgment is i just bought a 2013 Elantra GT....and i will hopefully be able to pick a phone that plays nice with blue link.

I am leaning toward the white S3....but also thinking i may hang out awhile and see when the razr HD is going to be released.:p

I can tell you I chose to take mine back for many of the reason mentioned here.

I'm not sure what I am going to do now. I'll keep the original incredible until I find a phone that intrigues me enough to buy it retail.

I really really wanted the Inc 4G and was angry that I had to order the SGS3 to keep my unlimited. Now, I've gone full-hog, head-over-heels in love with my S3 and you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

So, learning new ways of doing things isn't always the most fun thing to do, but it exercises your brain and makes me feel smarter.

The phone is not too big for me though I thought it would be. And most of the user-interface changes are there because of ICS, so even the Inc 4G is going to have a learning curve.
