With the launch of paid apps in the UK today..I just wondered....

Have you guys bought any of them?

What do you think of the apps you bought?

Would you recommend to buy any of the paid apps?

i'm possibly going to get aHome as currently on offer @ $2.99 - allows themes without hacking the G1 - looked @ Open Home Lite and wasn't impressed, not checked out dkTop yet

Already purchased Quickoffice, Record It, Discover Pro and Snap Photo Pro... All in about $10... bargain.

aHome is great, but not sure what benefit you get from paying over the free one. There are a couple of nice 99c widgets for aHome which might be worth it?

When paid version aHome gets auto-rotate ... then it will be worth buying ...
until then free works fine ...

Only 0ne application bought, I did say I wasn't going to buy any and I very much doubt I will be buying more due to no installation to SD unless routed but I bought Record It

Full TV listings and allows you to SMS to your SKY+ box to record a program and you can add to your google calendar as a reminder. I was using the beta which just allowed you to view what was on and now the market is open I could upgrade

I had a good look round the market and tbh I didn't really see anything else I would have wanted anyway. It's all a bit meh

I definately agree, the paid apps are not what I expected, and most are what you would have expected to be in the free market ... I think it shows that there were a lot of people sitting on their apps waiting for paid ... there are maybe more Free apps worth being in my phone than there are paid ...

I too will be waiting for apps-running-from-SD ... (unless there is something just amazing that floors me... )

T-Mobile G2 (HTC Hero) running 1.5 on T-Mobile UK and I can't find Record It in the market at all. Have searched and used bar codes and it's just not there. Is it 1.6+ only?
