I personally am going to have to get this thing in my hands before I make a decision. What about everyone else?
 
Lol...looks like it's just us in this thread. It's an hd mini with android. I would definitely have to hold it in my hand to get a taste for how good it is.
 
I'm going to have to see one as well. I'm also figuring on waiting until the end of the Summer; if nothing else shows up by then, I think I can live with these specs.
 
I may get it right at the end of June, then wait and see what else comes out for the next 30 days. If nothing better comes out, I'll keep it. Otherwise I can trade it in on the 30 day policy.
 
I can't see myself getting this thing, even for the 30 days...it really is a sad whimper of a sequel to the Backflop. And typical for AT&T at this point. Let's hope Samsung gives us good news at the end of the month and not too horribly long a wait.

Yeah, I'm interested in that too. They only have 2 more phones to announce to satisfy their 5 phone promise. One of those will probably be the Dell Streak's availability in the US (and Michael Dell has already spoiled AT&T having it), so no big announcement there. That leaves only 1 more real "surprise" announcement left in 2 weeks. The iPhone drops on the 24th. They could announce the Intruder a week from today, then in-store on the 27th (because let's face it the stores will be out of stock on the iPhone by the 25th, right?). Maybe? :)

I'll most likely buy it just to have for me and my fiance to switch between as a third phone.

i'll likely shell out the $329.99 for it. no biggie.
 
I can see myself going with this. HTC has promised all handsets released this year will get 2.2 so that is encouraging. I live with a 3.2" phone and the screen size is fine for me. If nothing better is released soon then I will definitely be getting this guy. Many claim the specs to be outdated(just cause it's ARMv6 I guess) but it's actually not that bad. The MSM7227 is a pretty solid SoC with good 3D acceleration. If the phone runs smooth(which it appeared to in the video) then I'll gladly take the extra battery life. I, unlike most it seems, don't care about the bragging rights of having the most powerful phone on the block. I just care about the phone having the features I want and running smoothly.
 
running smoothly is the key...I just dont see that processor being able to handle what comes in the next 2 years. And the screen size is rather small. I would like to watch stuff on my android phone.
