I'm very happy to see it. I hope by the time I'm ready to upgrade by the end of the year, there'll be a few Evo type phones out, one with a keyboard.

I'll buy the one with the keyboard. If not, then I'll buy the Evo!!

Ditto. My upgrade is in november... perfect timing. Even if there are any "delays"

I love the giant screen. Specs are what I'd expect from a top-notch Android device. Lack of AMOLED is a bit disappointing, and could use more internal memory, but then none of it's competitors are perfect either.

4G means nothing to me right now, as none of the Canadian carriers have any public plans to support it yet that I know of.

I'm not falling off my seat or anything over it, but it's definitely a great phone.

I'm pretty sure they would get sued if they used amoled, being sammy owns it and all, and doesn't like licensing things.

Do you mean SuperAMOLED? Because the N1/Desire use AMOLED, and so does the HTC Incredible doesn't it?

Definitely psyched for the EVO. Love the specs, and really really love the front-facing camera. Finally! Hopefully see some video conferencing apps out soon, if not already out.

Sadly my upgrade time won't be when the Evo is coming out...I really do want it though. That huge screen, plus HTC Sense UI along with Android 2.1 is enough to keep me happy for years. Then I think about 4g, and I feel that I can die happy if I had that phone.
