Apps Socket connection problem

Hi Friends,

I am new to Android Application development. I want to create TCP/IP conection between An Android phone(as Client or server) to another Android Phone or any Server.

I don't know how to start & what's are essential to this connection. I am having HTC Desire HD .

Could you give me some guidelines for this?

Well, you need to set up the Android SDK (there are enough tutorials on that around), but aside from that it seems like you can just use the standard Java socket class:
