Help Software or hardware issue

Does this look like a software or hardware issue to you? This is my Asus transformer infinity. Running 4.0.3. Also, the home screen has been going blank for no apparent reason. I'm thinking about exchanging it but wanted to see if you guys thought it was software or hardware related. The screen only looks like that for a few seconds a couple times a day.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Did you try factory reset?

Is that colour inversion? Something up with the graphics card? I would exchange it.

I think !on has it right, first try a factory reset. If that doesn't work then exchange it.
It's possible there is some app on there gone rogue, but my guess is that there is a hardware problem

Might be interesting to take a screenshot while that's happening and look at the image on another monitor. That might tell you whether the software is telling the hardware to display funky colors, or if it's the display hardware going flaky.

I think you can do screenshots using the setting under ASUS Customized Setting / Screenshot, there's a "Capture screenshots by holding the recent apps key".
