Software update gets to 26% and stops?

Hi there,

I need some help updating some software. For the past month every 3 hours, My phone keeps trying to update sotfware but it always gets to 26% and the android dies. The box comes up blank as well that im guessing should have told me the problem! Its getting quite annoying now.

I've tried plugging it into my laptop and doing it, While connected to my wifi, While i havent been and while its on charge and has a full battery.

Any ideas how to do it?

Have you tried downloading the software update from Kies instead of on your device, this might be able to solve the issue.

Check back with this guy ^ first, but you might try doing a factory reset first, then try updating again. I did mine over WIFI & it worked flawlessly. Just know that a reset will blow away any personal data, so back up your photos, etc...
