Root Software update required. (Using Aitos)

Well we have to upgrade our phones to patch the LTE thing.

Are we able to install this update using a rooted phone? I got a VM telling me August 8 our data will be off.

I tried all of the OTA Update tricks, even went back to total stock recovery and rom and still could not get any update message. There is no way I'm going to let a store touch my phone after previous experience, and I really don't think it is going to affect my LTE as it is. Talking with Metro they only say that it will add compatability and make it faster. It may make it faster or add more towers but I think it works fine for now. By the time I move I probably will get a new phone anyway and this won't be a problem. If you find out otherwise or think of a way to do this without going into the store please let me know.

I haven't seen a 4g icon on this phone since I got it almost a week ago. I'm using Aitos and rooted....Aa well. With electric sheep too. Thank you for any help.

I restored stock with odin, took it to metro and they did update with card. Went home, rerooted and reflashed basix and elec sheep. Easy peasy.
