Software Update!

Just for kicks about 10mins ago I checked if there was a software update and to my surprise there was one. Anyone else updated?
 
It was published to fix the call issues some Verizon users were experiencing. Sprint released a similar update for their call issues. If your not seeing it as an Over the Air update hook your phone up to Kies to get it.

I just checked Kies... no update for T-Mobile (You have the last firmware, it reads)

Ok, that's the stock/original firmware for the T-Mobile version. For my Verizon version it was MI9, then the update earlier this week brought it up to MJ7, and mostly addressed call audio issues first reported by Sprint users, then Verizon users.

I suspect T-Mobile will likely push an update out to you in the next couple weeks. According to our friend Simon_Gardner in the UK, Samsung has released 3 - 4 separate updates for the N3 just to get to MJ6. If you're not having any audio issues, I wouldn't worry about this first one.

If you are having some issues, I'd check Kies every day.
 
I'm on Verizon also and tried installing the update multiple times now. it keeps going to the reboot screen after install and then when i reboot it comes back to tell me the install failed with an error code of "410"

very frustrated at this point but at least its not a major update
 
First time, d/l on 4G. Failed install reboot from recovery. Got home, plugged in charger and on WIFI. Went perfectly then.
 
Anyone on Verizon Note 3 still experiencing call quality issues after the update? I have ongoing call quality issues even though there was an update right after I got my device and it reads the latest build number. Store tech support talks the usual crap that the update fixes the issue. My family got 2 of the same on At&T no issues at all in 2 weeks... Of heavy usage...
 
I got an update just now, downloading as i type here, yesterday i checked to but then nothing. 117.85MB
