Help Software update

I keep getting the software update message, is there a way I can stop it until I'm ready to download it myself ?

I would like to see what it's about first before AT&T forces it on my phone.

Good question... I'd like to know myself.

I had it happen when I had my S5 and couldn't stop it... I hate that.

Try this it may work settings ➡ system update and unchecked auto updates

I know on a AT&T Note 4 there is no way to stop automatic updates without tripping Knox or rooting and I wasn't going to do that. It's a shame too because you shouldn't be forced to update your software if you don't want to.
