SOftware Upgrade Link in Samsung... GONE

Has Anybody notice that the Link in samsung that said Software Upgrade is gone?? Even though when you clicked on it said error or something... But if they took it off does it mean that there would be no upgrade?

I still have it. Are you sure you're looking in the right place for it?

My bad i didn't specify... hehe. IN the Samsung captivate web page... when you clicked on the link that says.." I own this" it takes you to a page where you can download drivers, manuals, etc... Just below that there was a link that said" Upgrade software" and now its gone...

I noticed this a few weeks ago. It is a link on the Samsung support page for the phone, the link doesn't lead anywhere, now I see it's completely missing.


It used to be under "Quick Links" on this page>>http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SGH-I897ZKAATT

Ok... Now, this is not funny anymore!! Whats up with Samsung?!!!
Really frustrating... Tomorrow Gingerbread gets out with the nexus S and we still dont even have froyo... so sad...

Oh! Thanks, I thought it was the 15th.

Its funny how in papers and hardware we have one of the top notch cellphones out there with: 1gh processor, 512 ram, etc etc. And we are left behind an old software!

Whats even funnier is that the NExus S has almost identical specs as our cappy... and we have to wait probably a year before we are considered for gingerbread!

like i said before... so sad... heheh
