I bought what I thought were high end $200 bluetooth headphones to listen to pandora, soundcloud, and other media from my android phone without wires. The cords get in the way when doing physical activity
Headphones: SOL Republic Tracks Air
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2 (virgin mobile edition)
Now these headphones came with optional cords to have a wired connection to listen from instead of Bluetooth. I'm happy with this addition, otherwise I would have just assumed these cans were garbage. The sound is "perfect" with a wired connection to my phone, PC, and tablet. Zero complaints
With a bluetooth connection to my s2 phone I hear so much static that there is no depth to the music. All I can focus on is the staticy bass, vocals, and treble. I then paired my headphones to my girlfriends iPhone 5 and it's crystal clear. This was done in the same room, so I don't believe my wireless router or PS3 are to blame. My old-ish phone is the problem
What can I do on my android phone to reduce static/interference in these headphones? I've tried taking it out of its otterbox case. I was hoping for maybe an App that'll diagnose it for me or something. I really don't want to go out and buy a new phone, but I also don't want wired headphones while working out.
The sound quality is -really- unbearable. High pitched treble static is the best I can describe it. I didn't think it were possible for something to sound this poorly in 2015. I'm also afraid of buying a new android phone and having the same experience. What are some reasons why my S2 would sound poopy but an iphone is perfect? The bluetooth in each differ?
