Is there any benefit battery-wise to having a solid black wallpaper on the One X's SLCD2 screen technology? People used to say that solid black wallpapers saved battery life on SAMOLED screens, and I'm curious if that is true of SLCD2?
A black wallpaper won't make a difference. The screen is still backlit, so whether or not the wallpaper is black, light/power is still needed to display the black.
