Help Solid Explorer FTP instructions

There is a lack of clear instructions for simple people like me, for many apps.

My latest problem is with Solid Explorer.

I used to be able to setup an FTP connections but I now find I need an additional plugin; however having got that I don't know how to use it.

Can anyone please supply a simple structured set of instructions. The screen I get shows ftp://192.168.1.65:9999 Does this mean I have to make my Win 10 pc to this address.

I know what an IP address is e.g. 192.168.165 but how to I direct my Galaxy tablet to my Win 10 pc?

Gone back to Classic Solid Explorer. Logged into Pc but cannot transfer to tablets Sd card because of Lollipop.

Any idea how to grant permission; seem most unintuitive process?

However fell at first huddle. I have ES explorer. How do I sure it runs with superuser permissions.

Sorry but I though these things just connect?
