Help solid state drives?

I've not had good experiences with external hard drives - most have failed after a year or two.
Would it be possible to connect a solid state drive (SSD) to the TF201? I imagine it would be easy to find a case for it, but what about SATA to USB?
 
There are loads of external cases for 2.5" SATA drives that have USB connectors, any one should do.

As far as the Prime is concerned an SSD is just a hard drive so it'll treat it no differently to any other HD.
