Solution to Battery Life - Go test it

My X10 discharge battery first then start charging.

Like when i plug in to chrger it was 30% then it goes to 0% in 2Hrs and now its dead.

Is it normal for X10 Please help me...?

As i am new with X10

I have managed to get long battery life with a few little tricks.

1) Turning of the internet usage when I'm not making use of it. Bought a widget that had the control to do this. click apn usage if i need send receive options outside of a wifi zone or wifi when in. Updates and app surfing are usually done when at home plugged in.

2) I use task killer to, well kill all the apps running. Not just at boot but it has the nice option to kill when the screen is turned off so every time i turn it on it seems fresh and fast.

3) The ritual reboot of my device in the am before I hit the road.

So far in a twelve hour work day I drop 20% which for me is great.

When I 1st got my phone the battery was only lasting about 15 - 20 hrs tops, but after about a week of completely draining the battery it would then last for up to 48 hrs.
A couple of days ago it started to drain my battery big time, I unplugged my phone (100% battery) this morning before work, after only 5-6 hrs my phone is down to 10% and it has only been on stand-by (facebook sync set to 3 hrs) No calls, no texts, no surfing. I haven't knowingly changed any settings.
Any help, because I can't be charging my phone twice a day.
Thanks
