Root [solved] About to smash this phone...please help!

My plan is to walk out of work, smash this thing in the parking lot & then go to Metro PCS to make an insurance claim. Unless someone here can help me!

I have tried everything that's been suggested to make the LG SystemServer error message stop, but nothing has worked. Well, freezing it with titanium backup worked...but it then created another error message.

The only thing I haven't tried is unrooting & doing a factory restore. The only reason I haven't tried that is because I can't find an unroot method that actually works! Does anyone know of a method that they have CONFIRMED works for unrooting this device? If so, can you please point me to it so I can give it a try & possibly save $100 that I don't really have to throw at this?

Sorry for not using the search feature, but I am at work & trying to do this before someone asks why I'm on my phone at work!

Thank you!

PS - I got the error message FOUR times while composing this post...gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

You could always try a full wipe. You would lose all your data but it should work I would think.

I know when I unlocked the bootloader with mine, I forgot to disable the screen lock. That made it impossible to do anything with. I had to do a full wipe, and then I could finish the unlock. The point of the story is when I wiped I didn't re-root before I tried to unlock and it failed. I had to re-root the phone. So, I am assuming that will do the trick.

I am pretty sure it is pwr + vol- to do a full wipe. Might want to check that though.

I tried that and the phone was still rooted after. And the issue continued. Weird I know, but that's what happened.

Factory reset isn't a "fulll wipe" it does not wipe system mods, only user data. So doing a hard reset is pointless in this situation. Can I ask what you did to cause this error?

I wasn't sure if it would fix it or not. As I said i had a definitely rooted phone, had to do a wipe during bootloader unlock, had to re-root before I could use 2nd-init in the unlock process.

That may have been something screwy with the unlock process for me that happened to work, but what ever, glad to here you got it fixed.
