[Solved] Can't boot into Cyanogenmod

Hi:

I'm using ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.3.1 and Cyanogenmod 10.0. I rooted my phone using a previous version of CWM Recovery. Here's my procedure:

1) Boot into CWM Recorvery
2) wipe data/factory reset
3) Wipe cache partition
4) advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
5) Install zip from sdcard (using the downloaded Cyanogenmod 10 and gapps-20121011)
6) Reboot system now

Then I get the Cyanogen boot up screen/animation, and it's like that forever.

A few notes on the process:

When I start up CWM, I see the following:

E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

Also, when I go to wipe data/factory reset or wipe cache partition, it takes forever, and then reboots.

Welcome to the forums, sgillespie! :hello:
First, which phone do you have? Second, have you tried another ROM or ensuring you've downloaded it correctly? You can also try installing a different recovery like TWRP (depending on whether your device supports it).

Whoops, I guess that's pretty important information. I'm using the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-T989).

I've tried Cyanogenmod 9.1 as well, redownloaded Cyanogen 10. Further, I also used the ROM Manager App to download Cyanogen 10 w/ gapps. All with the same results

Okay, then I guess I won't use ROM Manager. It sounds like I need to reflash CWM Recovery. Which version should I use?

Also, now that I have CWM how to I reflash?

EDIT: Or should I use another Recovery all together?

Unfortunately, I'm really not familiar with your phone. :o
I personally use TWRP for all my devices as I prefer it over CWM. It's touch enabled and has far more choices.
I'm happy to move this to the TMo S2 root forum if you'd like.
