Root [SOLVED]ClockWork not making Backups?

So as the title says my CWM isn't making backups for some reason. It started this morning when I wanted to try out a new rom(Let's call it Rom A), I made a backup, factory reset/deleted cache, and then installed Rom A. After a while of playing with the Rom A i decided I wanted to pass over some of the stuff to the backup I had just made so I went to try to do a backup and it went through the whole process and it said backup was complete but...when i went to go check there was no other backup. I checked through all the files and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone can help? Rom A is Minimal Triumph V1.0. Please and thank you!!

EDIT: Turns out it was making back ups this whole time but it was just naming them the same as older backups so I never noticed. Thanks for the help.

Did you have room for it on the sd card?

yes I have plenty of room. I have a 16 gb with about 9 gigs of free space.

if it might make a difference, I did delete some older backups I had that I didnt need. would that have affected it in any way?

A similar thing happened to me, but I can't rule out that my sdcard wasn't corrupted somehow. Lost all but my original stock backup. But perhaps CWM might have been complicit in the corruption - it happened after a couple backup/restores I did. All the files that were recently created on my sdcard (like for the last month) were gone, though not the directories. And that means ALL the files across the SD card that were created lately were gone, audio recordings from an app, etc.. not just CWM backup files.
