Solved handcent messaging bug

Switched to handcent to fix the battery drain bug. It worked perfectly in that regard. Lately I realized I wasn't receiving any texts at all. The problem had to do with the pop up notifications. If I turned it off got no texts. Turn it on and problem solved. Looks like your stuck with popups if you use handcent. Can anyone duplicate this?

Nope. I've only been using Handcent with the popup disabled. Works just fine. There's a lot of settings in there; you might check them all to make sure you haven't disabled something.
