Help Some advice for a noob and Galaxy S problems

I've been using my Galaxy S for some time, and have some issue with it. I'm not sure if they are known Android issues, known Galaxy S issues, or just issues on mine... I've updated to Froyo, and all my software are up to date.

Here's some of the problems... any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated

Try a factory data reset it should sort out most of these problems, but don't forget to back up as all data and settings will be lost.

One thing that bugs me is how the alarm on my Galaxy S' alarm doesn't work properly.

If I wake up early and cancel the alarm, it still sounds...

?? :/
