This app, at boot, will turn on WiFi if you want, and it also sets the time zone properly if you have a problem with the time zone being messed up.
App is at http://dr.ea.ms/APK/GimmieNetAndTime-release.apk
This app, should give you access to your contacts, if you are missing a contacts icon on your tablet.
App is at http://dr.ea.ms/APK/Gimmie_CoNtAcTs.apk
Everything is at Index of /APK including the source to both.
