Some bugs

Not sure if we have an official list of known issues but there are a few annoying little bugs I've found when using the Desire: -

In the People app:-
You can choose which contacts you want displayed in your main contacts list, you can select from phone, facebook etc by ticking the boxes but after a day the phone always reverts back to displaying just the phone contacts. They're still linked to their facebook accounts so it's not a problem but still a bug.

Once you have a phone and facebook account linked you can choose the display name to be the entry in the phone contact or their facebook name. Again, after a day or so the phone forgets your preference.

If someone updates their facebook profile pic this doesn't filter into the People app. the only way to fix this at the moment is to delete your facebook account from the phone then set it up again. the phone still remembers the linked accounts though when you do this.

In the Browser:-
The phone always forgets your preference for having your bookmarks listed in any other order other than newest first.

I'm affected by teh last 2 and one similar to the 2nd one, in that I can choose a pic to default in the people app (which is always facebook), but some revert back to google. Tried everything. Have to delete google pics now.

I haven't even bothered syncing my contacts with Facebook yet. I couldn't be bothered with the fact it gets confused and says texts are from one person when they're really from another etc.

I'm not sure exactly how or why it does it. However, several people, myself included, had texts from our network but it said they had come from a Facebook contact!

I wasn't desperate to sync my phone with Facebook anyway, so I unsynced it for the time being, as people had reported that the issue is sorted with Froyo.

you are on Orange, right? (Maybe another carrier, but I kinda remember Ornage being flagged)

This doesnt happen on all devices, my open/unlocked/unbranded on Voda does not experience this 'bug'.

I think it was something to do with people entering text in the field for their mobile phone number on Facebook. That was the cause of the problem if I remember right?
