Some contacts have 2 or 3 Facebook Profiles?

I'm guessing this is just a bug, but for some of my contacts, they have two "Facebook Profiles" listed. One even has three. I can't figure out how to delete them so it only shows one. I guess it doesn't really matter, as it's not making anything non-functional. Just a minor annoyance.

It started as a minor annoyance but it's like seriously taking over my phone. Many more contacts now have two Facebook profiles listed (that link to the same one, though). Two of my contacts even now have FOUR.

WHAT IS THIS?? Make it stop!!

This has to be a sync thing! It is very odd. Eh, it will get worked out. Man, to not be an Android programmer these next few weeks. Unless you are into that kind of thing... lol

I've been a long time BB user, so I'm new to Android. Does Google (or Verizon or whoever) release smaller bug-fix type updates regularly for the OS, or do updates only come in packages like 1.5 or 1.6 or 2.0?

I guess what I'm asking is: is this going to get a fix sooner rather than much later?
