Help Some contacts will not load as I type

[DeakonBluz]

There are many times that I start typing a name using the keypad in the dialer and a name that I do not call very often will not load. Yet, when I go into the People app, they are right there. Is there some setting or something that I need to use on ICS to make that happen by default? I have been using Android since the first Droid, and this has never been an issue until I got this phone with ICS (which I love so much I have not rooted and don't plan to!).

Thanks in advance!

when dialing the number in ICS is tricky, even for my galaxy nexus sometimes it sees the number, then it sees the name and tries to make them coincide, and usually fails at this. it is unfortunate, i havent found a solution to this yet except maybe a different dialer.
