Some help for a useless lady :)

Hi, and thanks for looking.

Here is my dilemma.

My husbands birthday is coming up and he works away from home uring the week. Now his contract has ended and because he has seen that three (3) do a sim only deal with unlimited data, he is looking at getting a phone that supports wifi hotspot. But there is a major problem when choosing a phone for him, he is registered blind and would require a large screen. I know he has been on this forum enquiring about it, but whilst he is away I thought I might as well ask the question in the hope someone can help. Oh and he is not bothered in regard to the mod cons, as long as it supports wifi hotspot, large screen and works on his three sim.

If anyone can help I would be grateful.

It's a bit pricey, he is getting the sim only option so I will buy him the phone, any other ideas? He is not totally blind, buthe had a blackberry 8900 recently and hated it because of the size of keys. I appreciate all your help.

Thanks

If you want a cheaper phone, then the Mote or Nexus, the Galaxy S2 is a good option. I'm pretty sure you can find a good deal for a used one.

Those phones are a bit pricey, what is the cheapest option I have for one in the uk? I spoke to him and he really wants a one that has wifi hotspot. I am scouring the net looking, but I can't seem to find much. An help would be grateful.

I think any Android device has wifi hotspot.

Heck, even the Galax 5 (the cheapest) has it.

I'd get him a Galaxy S or S2
