Some Pixel, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P owners say the fingerprint scanner stopped with 7.1.2

Google is rolling out the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update to a number of Nexus and Pixel owners, but it seems there is a bug. A number of people are now reporting that the fingerprint scanner is no longer working after the device has been updated.
