Root Some Poblems

Basically, I did the root tutorial from youtube.com/watch?v=R4syJ7zgNOM and everything worked liked in the video.

However, I downloaded a root checker from Google Play, and it said the device wasn't rooted.

I tried to use chrome, and the page wouldn't load, then, when I tried to use the sixaxis compatibility checker app, the app instantly failed.

What did I do wrong?

Once you ran all the stuff from tutorial to root you need to download and run superuser it is the prigram that grants all other programs root priv

Just tap the .apk in file manger, phone will ask if want to install it, then chose yes.

You should not need root for chrome

I know, and Chrome was working great before the root. Now it won't work. Is something in the tutorial messed up?

Yeah, this has nothing to do with Chrome. Just out of curiosity, why do you want to root?

IC. Im pretty sure rooting would not mess up the browser. But I'm no expert.
