So I just got a Samsung Galaxy s4, and I have a ton of questions. Some I tried to look up on the net but never found an answer I been satisfied with.

Here we go.

1: Is there a way to have mutiple email accounts, have the login and password saved, but require a pin code or something to actually read any of the emails or even get into it? Like a diffrent pin for each account?

2: How would I check if my phone can be upgraded? Mine has 4.2.2 android, is there an easy way to check if I can upgrade to to 5.0, and if so what are the risks and how safe is the upgrade process.

3: I heard something about "app cleaning" a way to I guess lower the amount of stuff that loads and runs int he background to improve battery life and overall speed, how exactly does one do this and what are some apps you reccomend to shut down/disabled on start/poweron load?

4: Any general tips be nice, and if you know of a forum where you can look for reviews of the games avail on it, and such sorted by category etc that would be great too.

Oh one last thing, is there someway to get something like adblock pro for google chrome on an android? I know I can get it for firefox but I find their android version to be meh at best, really confusing to use. I still haven't figured out how to get the home icon on my firefox main page like it is in chrome on android, checked settings and such and have not been able to find it at all.

1. You are asking for a mail app which then requires a PIN to enter each account. I don't know of one (which doesn't mean it doesn't exist). You could produce a similar result by having a different mail app for each account and password protecting each (there apps that will let you do that), though that's obviously less convenient.

2. Official upgrades are delivered over the air. Go to Settings > About > Software updates and you can check whether there is one. I'm surprised at an S4 still being on 4.2, though there are many variants, and carriers slow updates down. There is also the possibility of updating via a computer using Samsung software called Kies, but not being a Samsung owner I know nothing much about that. Updates are safe, but I'd recommend backing up beforehands because sometimes you get minor conflicts which cause problems that are best cleared by a factory reset (which simply erases all data on the phone, nothing more, but that's why backing up is worth doing).

3. User-installed apps which you don't need can just be uninstalled. System apps you don't need can be disabled (Settings > Apps > All, select the app, then select "disable". Don't have anything to do with "task killers", "memory boosters", "battery enhancers" or similarly named snake oil - these things spin a story that sounds plausible to people who are used to Windows and don't know how Android works, but are counterproductive in reality.

I can't tell you which apps to disable because one person's junk is another's essential service. Also I don't know what apps your phone has - that varies.
