Some serious biz

I believe this can be EVO related, we do have one of the best smartphones ever built. We can put all of kinds of content on it, with up to 32 gigs, or more with extra SD cards, full of music, movies, pictures, and other types of media, legally or not. Not sure if any of you have heard of this group ACTA, you will now. Reason I'm posting this here is because we as gadget consumers, tend to carry around more than just one gadget. Also many of us travel, which means, the possibility of our gadgets getting taken away from us at security in airports, we use and love the internet and possibly abuse the sht out of our ISP's.

So you don't think they'll pull it off? It's been in talks since 2007, and its not just the US, its world wide as well, like 37 countries so far. Sucks.

Well for one, the US just made modifying cell phones legal.

iPhone jailbreaking (and all cell phone unlocking) made legal - Yahoo! News

It's also legal to make a copy of a CD or DVD that you already legally own for your own use as long as you are not selling or distrubuting it. For that reason, as long as the police aren't willing to apply for warrants to search your house, carrying around a burned CD or DVD will never be illegal.

As far as limiting torrent traffic, some ISP's already throttle it so that's already an issue.

That is from 2 years ago so it may be better or worse (my money on worse) by now.
