Root Some1 with Ultimate Droid...

mind GChatting with me? apparently i have busted a screw loose in the ol' noggin and cannot get it working.

i have ultimate droid v7.8 and i would love to give 9.0 a try but i am goofing up somewhere?!?
 
Do a fresh install - wipe your data/factory reset and cache partition. Install and you should be good to go (back up your old setup first just in case).
 
i d/l'd rom manager and tried goofing with the ROM this way because i thought that i could easily switch ROMs this way. i wiped what i usually wipe and went to their native nandroid folder and there was nothing there that resembled Blackdroids Ultimate... so i'm stock
 
if ur using rom manager then the downloaded files for UD would be in the rom manager folder thats created on ur sd card. but u should be able to us rom manager to flash and wipe everything without problem. and make sure clockworkrecovery is up to date. if still nothin msg me on yahoo and il do my best to help ya out. im almost always on, just click yahoo icon next to my name.
